NYARC Membership UPDATE The 2021 Racing season training fees have moved to a Pay-As-You-Go model for the remainder of this year’s training season. Coaching fees – $25/session and dryland training – $10/session. All payable to nyarc.to@gmail.com

Given the current situation, we have revised our policy. If your child is under U14, or is U14/U16 and will note be doing gates (Thursdays at MSL – TBD), or participating in OCUP races (TBD), we will NOT require you to register with AO as a prerequisite to train with us.

NYARC offers competitive ski racing programs for U8 (*6-7 yrs), U10 (*8-9 yrs), U12 (*10-11 yrs), U14 (*12-13 yrs), U16(*14-15 yrs) and U18 (*16-17 yrs).

Membership includes:

  • 8 weeks dryland training
  • 8 weeks on snow training
  • On snow coaching
  • 4-6 races and 2 hours coaching on each race day
  • End of season party

Start date: January 6, 2021 – TBD

Fees not included in Membership:

  • Earl Bales Night Skiing Membership (nightly skiing from 4pm to 9:00pm): $199.00 ( plus taxes). Parents must purchase night skiing pass at Earl Bales Ski and Snowboard Centre from December 15, 2020 (TBD)
  • Alpine Ontario Association registration fees – fees vary depending on age group. AOA membership covers each athlete’s insurance and supports the sport in Ontario. You will need to register with AOA and set up your racers and pay the membership in order to train and race.

Optional Training

  • December pre-season weekend training at Mount St Louis Moonstone (TBD) .
  • Dates and prices TBD. 

There are many other training opportunities offered throughout the season for those keen on further improving their skills.  These are optional and offered to racers at additional cost.

  • Alpine Ontario Association – organized training days
  • Ski Nord-Est Inc.’s – Mont Tremblant December pre-season and March Break post-season ski training camps

U8 /U10

  • 8  weeks dryland training
  • 4-5 hrs on snow coaching
  • 4-6 Races, including 2 hours race day training
  • End of Season Party
  • Early Bird  (expires Oct 31, 2020)             $795.00 **

* Parents of these youngest racers are expected to assist coaches with the group training on a rotating schedule basis.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION


** Registrations are fully refundable BEFORE January 6, 2020, minus a $100, non-refundable registration fee.**


*Our on-snow season is only eight weeks long. For this reason – and for this season only – if you or your racer are so unlucky as to contract COVID, we will refund you on a pro-rated basis, should you choose to withdraw from the program. Proof of a positive test result required.


*Should Earl Bales ski hill close due to COVID, we will also have a pro-rated refund policy. At this time, however, we cannot confirm details are we still waiting for the City’s policy before confirming our own.


A reminder that, regardless of the cancellation of Alpine Ontario races this year, AO registration remains a mandatory requirement of training with us as your payment insures your racer while enrolled in our club. Please visit

Club Privacy Policy

Please note that the personal information gathered on this web-site as part of club registration or participation may be provided to Alpine Ontario and participating Alpine Ontario ski clubs for the purpose of race registration and for insurance purposes. The information will also be shared with parents of children participating in club events, and coaches who work for the club. In addition to registering with NYARC, you must register your child with Alpine Ontario.
